- Frame stretchers with brace bars where required for extra rigidity. All corners have precise knuckle joints and wedges in order to maintain canvas tension for many years to come.
- Premium frames have a generous depth of 20mm. Most standard sizes are also available with 38mm deep wrap frames (see chart below).
- We are happy to offer FREE ADVICE including appraisal of your photos, digital files, or artwork.
- Rapid turnaround on orders - normally 7 days or less.
Follow this 5 stage process in order to create striking art from your images:
Digital files - consider in particular: focus, clarity and image capture size. As a general rule, for a print size of up to 16 x 12" your capture size should be 4 mega pixels or more (giving you an RGB image size of 11 Mb or more, when viewed in your image editing software). For print sizes of 20 x 16" and above capture size should be 5 mega pixels or more (image editing file size of 15 Mb or more). Please supply your images to us as JPEGs with low compression (high quality setting).
Transparencies and photographic prints - consider in particular: focus, brightness, clarity. Prints should be postcard sized or larger for reproduction up to 16 x 12" and 7 x 5" or larger for reproduction up to 20 x 16".

Wrapped edges of stretcher can be:
- plain white
- plain black
- continuation of the image from the front onto the edges of the stretcher (keep in mind that a margin of image from the original image will now move round to the edges)
- cloned outer margin of the image, mirrored to extend over the edges (in order to maintain the maximum image on the front face of the stretcher - there is a small *additional charge for this service)

This summer we are making an attractive offer to Devon Artists Network members who would like to create fine art print editions from original artworks.
We believe many artists struggle to attain a satisfactory income from their creative output, effectively working at below 'the minimum wage' due to practical limitations in the price achieved for their original art alone.
It has become apparent in recent years that fine art print editions can offer an artist a valuable additional revenue stream.
Furthermore, in the prevailing market many are finding that sales of giclee prints are much less affected by a downturn in sales to a more cautious art buying public
As producers of highest quality giclee prints we have an obvious vested interest in promoting print production and as such would be happy to propose what we hope would be a mutually beneficial offer.
The Offer
The weakest link in the print production chain is often found in the initial image capture stage. Shortcomings in terms of sharpness, colour fidelity and file size regularly appear in the image files supplied to us for printing. Unfortunately, as you are no doubt aware, these same issues are reflected in art prints on sale in the market place.
Thus, as an incentive to artists we are offering high resolution digital capture of original artwork using our large format scanback camera, at a considerably discounted rate of 40% on normal imaging costs. A discount of 20% applies for origination via drum scanner.
A discount of 10% on published printing costs will also be applied to all giclee prints produced on Hahnemuhle 310 gsm matt art paper and Chromata White acid/OBA free stretched canvas prints. (All above discounts apply when ordering a minimum of 2 or more giclee prints per artwork).
The offer runs from 10th June to 31st August 2010.
All materials used in print production are selected to enhance image reproduction and achieve the greatest possible longevity and print permanence. Ink/media combinations are tested and approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild.
To enhance the presentation of your stunning giclee prints we are also able to offer a window mount and wrap service at very economical rates.
